You see, in the language of the Jews any godly person is called a son of God. But this term has been manipulated by the Christians by refering to Jesus (pbuh) as the bigotten son of God, thus, Muslims prefer not not call anyone son of God.
Jesus(pbuh) also … Jesus(pbuh) also used the term slaves of Allah. It just means “servant held as property of Allah. However, we can not be servants of His unless we have His character. Humans were designed to live from the inside out not from the outside in. The term slave keeps God at a distance. ‘sons’ gives us a new dimension of what we can become when we yeild our lives to Allah.
