Dude, this question is WAY too long.

Martin Luther was definitely anti-semitic. His comments influenced Hitler and other German Nazis.

Don’t blame the religion, blame the people that hide behind it because they are afraid of taking responsibilities for their own actions.

    Another Luther quote

Even Martin Luther saw the inescapable principle of fragmentation and disunity that lies at the heart of <sola scriptura>. In a letter to Urlich Zwingli, he complained bitterly about the doctrinal anarchy that was even then rampant among Protestants: "If the world lasts, it will be necessary, on account of the differing interpretations of Scripture which now exist, that to preserve the unity of faith, we should receive the [Catholic] councils and decrees and fly to them for refuge."

We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of GOD, that we received it from them, and that without them, we should have no knowledge of it at all."

There’s a mighty big difference between the frustrated rants of a person who’s a bit unstable but bears no evidence of actually having carried out such threats, and the deliberate murder of thousands of people. Your comparison of Luther to Bin Laden is bogus.

i think Martin Luther’s writings should only be accepted as what he said at that time in human history. a man knew of those concepts in religion, as he says…and his name was Martin Luther. to judge him as a sour grape, is not what i will do. the conditions and religious climate of where he was affects his attitude.

    *Is Catholic*

No, Luther’s books should not be considered examples Christian litterature because they are often very wrong about many of the fundamentals of the Christian Faith. They should be instead understood for their historical impact and not in their impact to better Christianity for they did do this and were rather condemned as false paths and untruths.
