People have got to pay to go into a church now and mustn’t sing certain hymns? Is this right?

No every word you spoke is wrong.

Jerusalem wasn’t written as a hymn but as a song against the Napoleonic War.

every church needs money to keep the lights and heat on, or the air-conditioning as it were, so every church must depend on its congregations to pay the bills

usually this is done by tithing

every single church is different when it comes to hymn singing (the church I attended as a child only had singing on Christmas)

if there is a church that charges admission, then it is probably a rogue church that is outside anyone’s jurisidiction

if I were you, I would avoid going to that church

The one I attend has collections but you do not have to put anything in. Once a month food is offered at the end of the service for raising funds. All donated and taken in turn to cook. Children and individuals are allowed to sing a special song, pray or say what achievements that have attained. No restrictions.
The whole session goes on for 3-31/2 hours each Sunday. Can be a bit long at times though. LOL

If this puts people of going to church, let’s have more of the same.
