Here’s a website that teaches the meaning of every verse of every Book of the Bible: http://www.soniclight.com/constable/notes.htm

Pick a Book, like Romans, and teach verse by verse, a chapter a week :) That is a great way to start a Bible study, with Romans! And when you’re done with Romans, then you can move onto another Book, and eventually you’ll find, you will get through the whole Bible! :)

My suggestion would be to study the Bible itself, not some book about the Bible. Take a passage of interest to the group, read it, pray over it, meditate on it and take out of it what God has for you. Then discuss how it applies to you and discuss application goals for the coming week. There is really nothing in Bible study that can be compared to what God shows you directly from His word by His Spirit. God bless you in it. I have run many Bible studies, email me if you want any advice.

I have a book in titled "Young People Ask, Answers That Work". I used it as a teenager and LOVED it. Now my children and their friends have one and love it. Go past the Kingdom Hall in your home town on a Saturday morning at 9 am and you can get as many as you like free of charge! It’s a wonderful book. It deals with all kinds of teenage issues and gives you the bible’s answer as how to handle them.

My friend had bible study in her house on Tuesday Night. The time was 6:30 to 7:30. She open up with prayer. She ask if anyone wanted to give a testimony or a song that was on their heart. after that she went into the bible study. Her bible study was on Job how he had lost everything. We had refreshment after the study. That a blessing for you to be young and want to do a bible study in your home. God Bless You.

You might try running the idea by your youth pastor or minister or adviser.

They will be able to give you some pointers on organization and or ‘jumping off points’. It can be a little intimidating to initiate something like that so speaking with someone who has experience might be helpful.

Start simple, discussion group. Pick a topic, take an informal pole at the first group gathering.

Why not invite classmates (who you feel would consider going, don’t just randomly approach people because you may offend or send the wrong message).

Lastly, invite ‘guest speakers’. Check your local universities for visiting professors who might be willing to lecture at one of your group gatherings. Mix it up a little bit. Having a club for Bible study can be a great opportunity for not only theological discussion and inquiry but would benefit from a historical and literary approach as well, giving your group a well rounded motif and thus, making it more interesting to friends and or peer you might invite.

Diversify: invite peers and or friends who you know to have different beliefs and faiths than your group’s focus. Make it a real ‘faith’ group /gathering, not just a Bible study, the club will only benefit!

Yes I have a few idea, but it will be more centered around what they call a cell group, My wife and I had a very successful cell group or home group. My wife and I led the group but we had someone else use there home and the people who came took turns bringing snacks. We had prayer first ice breakers, open discussion, focusing on individual needs and some bible verses that we talked about that related to peoples needs

How to lead a great cell group meeting by Joel Comiskey is a great book to check out on this subject matter.

Pray (maybe with some christian friends for God’s guidance and to send people).

The time slot is good 6-7 PM.
(wouldn’t be too late or interfere with regular church and study times).

Pray and study what you want to teach from the bible.

Discussing your idea with your parents and a bible believing pastor would be good.Let your parents know and see when they might allow your study.

Some good places to teach from:

    Matthew (25)
    Mark
    Luke
John (good for unsaved and young christians)
    1 & 2 Tim
    Job 19 (resurrection)
James( rules for a moral life)
    1 & 2 Thes (prophesy)
    Rev (Prophesy)

    King James is best.

A Strongs Concordance is good for advanced study.

    note:
If you want to evangelize you may want to use Chick tracs:

You may want to go through the New Testiment or the whole bible.

Discuss the book "The god delusion"

Of course to be able to truly discuss it you should read it first.

Well, I know a devotion you could do. It is entitled "Be Fine China." Take a paper plate and then if you have it, a piece of bone china. Tell people that God wants you to be fine china, something that Jesus could eat every meal off of. You can also reuse the plate over and over again. But the paper plate is something that we might eat off of everyday. Once you use the paper plate, you have to throw it away. It is permanently stained and is now useless. God wants you to be fine china so that Jesus can use you anytime and on every special occasion. There is a verse that goes with it too.

    It is:

"In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets- some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to His guests for their blessing." 2 Timothy 2:20-21

I like the way it is worded in this particular version of the Bible. I got it off of the Internet, so i’m not sure what version it is. I use the NIV version, and it words it differently. This version is a good way to describe what God is talking about and what he wants you to be.

I really hope I helped you a little bit. I know this is only one little short devotion, but I think it will help. You should buy teen devotion books at a bookstore and pull some more out of there for you Bible study.
