“La dernière répétition avait été fixée au 7 avril 1741.
Seuls quelques parents des choristes des deux cathédrales avaient été admis à y assister et par mesure d’économie on n’avait que faiblement éclairé la salle.

Les auditeurs se serraient de plus en plus, comme s’ils désiraient ne faire qu’un seul corps, n’être qu’une âme et qu’une ouïe, pour recueillir les paroles de la foi exprimée sous une forme toujours nouvelle.
Chacun se sentait faible en présence de cette force de la nature et cependant heureux d’être empoigné et soulevé par elle ; un même frisson de joie parcourait toute l’assistance.
Lorsque l’Alléluia retentit, tout le monde fut transporté, tout le monde se leva dès les premières notes ; chacun sentait qu’il était impossible de rester cloué au sol lorsqu’une pareille force vous saisissait, chacun se dressait pour mêler sa voix à celle du chœur, pour se rapprocher un peu de Dieu, afin de le servir et le vénérer.
Puis les gens s’en allèrent et racontèrent de porte en porte qu’une œuvre musicale comme en n’en avait jamais entendu de semblable sur terre venait de voir le jour.

We all know Obama is a puppet, and so are all other past and future presidents. “This country (America) was bought and sold off a while ago,the they shuffle around every four years…doesn’t mean a thing…”

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe reports: President Obama, like any other President, has his fair share of critics. Even fourth-graders have noticed.
“Why do people hate you?”, a fourth-grade boy asked Obama at a town hall event in New Orleans today. “They’re supposed to love you. And God is love.”
“That’s what I’m talking about,” replied the President.
“First of all, I did get elected president, so not everybody hates me,” Obama noted, before adding, “What is true is if you were watching TV lately, it seems like everybody’s just getting mad all the time. And I — you know, I think that you’ve got to take it with a grain of salt. Some of it is just what’s called politics where, you know, once one party wins, then the other party kind of gets — feels like it needs to poke you a little bit to keep you on your toes.”
“And so you shouldn’t take it too seriously,” Obama told the boy. “And then, sometimes, as I said before, people just — I think they’re worried about their own lives. A lot of people are losing their jobs right now. A lot of people are losing their health care or they’ve lost their homes to foreclosure, and they’re feeling frustrated. And when you’re president of the United States, you know, you’ve got to deal with all of that.”
“You get some of the credit when things go good. And when things are going tough, then, you know, you’re going to get some of the blame, and that’s part of the job,” he continued. “But, you know, I’m a pretty tough guy.”
“You’ve just got to keep on going, even when folks are criticizing you, because — as long as you know that you’re doing it for other people, all right?” Obama concluded.
The boy’s question was the last one the President fielded at his event at the University of New Orleans, his first trip to the city since being elected to the Oval Office.

Story of Bullet for my valentine :
Bullet for My Valentine is a four-piece metalcore band from Bridgend, Wales. Originally known as “Jeff Killed John”, the band formed in 1998 and covered songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Financial difficulties marked a change in music direction and name for the band and so the band went through numerous name changes, such as “12 Pints of My Girlfriend’s Blood” (which was changed after being decided as ‘too graphic’), until deciding on “Bullet for My Valentine”. In 2002 the band was offered a record deal by Roadrunner Records. That offer was turned down, and the band later secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG.
Bullet for My Valentine’s debut album The Poison was released on October 3, 2005 in the United Kingdom and on Valentine’s Day in America in 2006 to represent the name “Bullet for My Valentine”, the album was dedicated to long time friend Simon Roy Denning. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number 128, and the Top Heatseekers chart at number 1, and has sold 375,000 copies in the U.S. as of February 6, 2008. The band made appearances at the Download Festival, Kerrang! XXV, and a United States tour with Rob Zombie, which the band were ultimately kicked off due to vocalist Matthew Tuck’s comments on the band’s message board. Bullet for My Valentine’s second studio album Scream Aim Fire debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 53,000 copies.

While it is a dark and sad day for those who once considered the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America a place of worship, the holy living God has displayed his glorious power in a overtly miraculous manner which is not often seen in the New Testament era. The ELCA voted to separate itself from biblical Christianity by accommodating and endorsing unrepentant homosexual relations on Wednesday August 19, 2009. At precisely 2 PM – the deadline for the “Social Statement on Human Sexuality” – the Lord sent a tornado, defying conventional wisdom, directly to the Minneapolis convention center and Central Lutheran Church area. So intentional and directed was this action that it sheered the cross clean off of the historic steeple while leaving the roof and building intact. In his mercy no one was harmed. A true historic miracle in the old testament vein, God in His infinite mercy has sent a clear warning. Lutherans are your hearts so hard that you cannot see God reaching out? Repent and return to sound doctrine – uphold the word of God.
REPENT Lutherans – Repent! repent!

“The Wayfaring Stranger,” also known as “Poor Wayfaring Stranger,” is a traditional folk song of unknown origin. There are many and varied opinions as to its origin. Some of the theories include Appalachian Folk, Old Irish, and Catskills Folk. One theory is that it originates from the Negro Spirituals and there was a deliberate concealment of the songs origins. The lyrics of negro spirituals were tightly linked with the lives of their authors: slaves. While work songs dealt only with their daily life, spirituals were inspired by the message of Jesus Christ and his Good News (Gospel) of the Bible, “You can be saved”. They are different from hymns and psalms, because they were a way of sharing the hard condition of being a slave.
Many slaves in town and in plantations tried to run to a “free country”, that they called “my home” or “Sweet Canaan, the Promised Land”. This country was on the Northern side of Ohio River, that they called “Jordan”. Some negro spirituals refer to the Underground Railroad, an organization for helping slaves to run away.
