I moved in for the kiss. Justin prolonged the moment. I waited for the dare to be over. Justin’s lips met mine. We explored eachothers mouth. This wasn’t just a kiss I felt something more. I’m pretty sure he felt it cause he moaned softly. I didn’t want to pull away. Well my body didn’t, It felt like it’s been waiting for this forever. We ignored the ‘coughs’ in the room. It felt like we were in our own world. It was perfect, the kiss left me breathless. I know they said I dated justin, but I rlly don’t know him. I kinda fell like I do. even when we were done kissing he held me in his arms, and I felt like that’s where i belonged. We starred into eachothers eyes for the longest, like our eyes were having a conversation. Justin sighed and said my Gorgie sadly. Who’s his Gorgie. I sudenly felt rage, jelousy. Though I barely know him my emotians were strong.I felt tears stream down my face and justin was surprised. I pulled out of his arms and half-ran down the stairs, almost tripping. I locked myself in the bathroom by the living room. END POV

Our kiss was wonderful, Abbi has never kissed me like that. still I miss my gorgie. this Abbi barely knows me. Abbi soon flitted down the stairs. i didn’t hear the door slam so she is still inside. I wonder what I did to make her totally turn away, apperantly so did the other. Aly started blaming me. give her time to remember, you shouldn’t have forced her like that. Like what? We were both making out, I mean it does take two people right? I ran down stairs and away from thier bickering, to find abbi. i heard quiet soft sobs coming from the bathroom. i knocked on the door. GO AWAY she wimpered. I opened the door because I knew the lock didn’t work. She was crying so I thought she might be cutting herself but no, she just sat there her eyes puffy. This may sound wierd but she looked like an angel. A sad one though. I knelt down to be on eye level with her. END POV:

BECOME A BELIEVER IN CHRIST TODAY

First, you can be sure that God loves you unconditionally and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).

Second, you need to admit your sinful nature to God, because this is what separates all of us from Him.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).

Third, you should stop trying to please God through your own efforts, and realize that salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is a gift that none of us deserves.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8).

Finally, you just need to step in and truly accept Gods gift — His Son, Jesus Christ.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12).

So, now you know the basic steps to become a Christian. As a result, if you desire Gods gift of eternal life and fellowship with Him, you are as close as a sincere act of faith.

Jesus says,

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6).

Jesus also says,

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20).

Receiving Jesus is a matter of truly asking Him to come into your life, to forgive your sins, and to become your Lord and Savior. Its not merely an intellectual undertaking, but rather, an act of sincere faith and heart-felt will.

If you want to receive Jesus now, and accept His gift of salvation, it’s a matter of believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of your sins, and turning the rest of your life over to Him. This is not a ritual based on specific words, but rather, a prayerful guideline for your sincere step of faith. Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38)

If you decided to become a Christian today, welcome to God’s family. Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment. * Get baptized as commanded by Christ. * Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ. * Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible. * Seek fellowship with other Christians. Develop a group of Christian friends to answer your questions and support you. * Find a local church where you can worship God.

Our God, Our Help in Ages Past (Psalm 90) – Isaac Watts

“Our God, Our Help in Ages Past” is a sacred hymn still sung at all festive occasions in England, considered one of the grandest in the English hymnody. It is a paraphrase of Psalm 90, a psalm of Moses, originally consisting of nine stanzas. Today, the hymn is usually limited to stanzas one, two, three, five and nine.

In 1738 John Wesley in his hymnal, Psalms and Hymns, changed the first line to the text from “Our God” to “O God.” The hymn was originally part of The Psalms of David Imitated in the Language of the New Testament, published by Watts in 1719. In this book he paraphrased in Christian verse the entire psalter with the exception of twelve psalms which he felt were unsuited for Christian usage. This hymn ranks as one of the finest of Watts’s more than 600 hymns.

Isaac Watts (1674-1748), born on July 17, 1674 in Southampton, England, is often called the father of English hymnody. The eldest of nine children, his father was an educated deacon in a dissenting Congregational church. At the time of Isaac’s birth, his father was in prison for his non-conformist beliefs.

Watts showed an unusual aptitude and literary genius as a boy. From 5 until 13 years old, he learned Latin, Greek, French, and Hebrew, and began to write quality verses. He had the habit of rhyming ordinary conversations that sometimes annoyed people around him. As a student of theology and philosophy, he wrote volumes which had powerful influence on English thinking during the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

One of his early concerns was the deplorable state in which congregational singing had degenerated in most English-speaking churches. Watts was seen as a radical churchgoer who was critical of the slow singing. One Sunday, after returning from a service, young Isaac was challenged by his father, “why don’t you give us something better to sing?” Watts, then aged 18, accepted his father’s challenge. The next Sunday he produced his first hymn, with enthusiastic response from the congregation. He wrote new hymn texts every Sunday for the next two years. In a book Hymns and Spiritual Songs, he published over 200 hymns. Watts wrote some more than 600 hymns. Some favorite hymns he wrote, aside from this hymn, include “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross,” “I Sing the Mighty Power of God” and the famous Christmas song “Joy to the World.”

The music in this majestic hymn is known as “St. Anne,” composed in 1708 by William Croft (1678-1727), a greatly trained church musician with a Doctorate in Music at Oxford University, was known as one of the finest English musicians during his time. He was the organist at the Church of St. Anne in Soho, London, during the reign of Queen Anne.

“St. Anne” tune first appeared anonymously in the Supplement to the new Versions of the Psalms, 6th edition in 1708, originally intended to be used with Psalm 62 version. The tune gained recognition when it was set to Isaac Watts’s text. For its musical worth, famous composers like Johann S. Bach (Fugue in E-Flat Major, known as “St. Anne’s Fugue”) and George F. Handel (“O Praise the Lord”) borrowed it for their own lyrics.

FORGIVING YOURSELF by Dr. Harold Sala
I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:24-25

If you had the power to change something that happened yesterday, would you do it? Of course, every one would. Yet you can no more change what has already happened that you can turn back the sun as it races across the sky or reverse the flow of sand through the hourglass of time.

Time is an ever-flowing stream that can never be turned back. Often, though, we wish that we could do something about yesterday that something we regret which puts a blight on today. At times it is difficult to accept the words of the Apostle Paul, “Forgetting those things that are past….”

How do you find God’s grace for today? I’m thinking of a couple whose 6 year old son was killed in a freakish accident. While they were on vacation, the little boy crawled into the back of the camper and went to sleep a perfectly normal event for a 6 year old, but what was not normal was that in the next few moments the axle of the camper snapped in two. The vehicle began to swerve and then finally overturned. No one was hurt except the 6 year old boy who was pinned beneath the vehicle. Frantically, they freed him from the wreckage. At last he was out. But by the time help had arrived, the little fellow had passed away in the arms of his father. That was hard, believe me. I stood over the casket of that little boy whose teddy bear was in his hand and his blanket lay beside him.

Several months later I was in the home and was surprised to hear the mother say that the company her husband worked for was really responsible for the death of their son. “How is that?” I asked. “Well,” she replied, “we applied for a loan to buy a new truck and they got our credit mixed up with my husband’s brother, and turned us down. It is their fault because if they had given us a loan we would have had a new truck and our boy today.”

Who was really responsible? The company who got the credit report mixed up with someone else? Shall we blame the company who manufactured a faulty axle? Shall we blame God by saying that He could have prevented it? Shall we blame the father who almost stopped for the night a short distance before the accident took place?

What advice would you give? Tell them to buck up? Or tell them to face the tragedy with stoic firmness? We become bitter when we blame ourselves or others. There are times when we can only turn to God to find His grace and strength and then try to live one day at a time.

If you are a Christian parent and you have dedicated your infant to the Lord, you have to remember that your child belongs to Him. At times God lifts one of His choicest jewels from our lives to cause us to look up and keep Him in our lives. Through the death of a child God often speaks to us.

Annie Johnson Flint is a woman who knows something of personal stress and strain. She wrote from experience when she penned these words, “He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater; He sendeth more strength when the labors increase; to added affliction He addeth His mercy; to multiplied trials, His multiplied peace. His love has no limit; His grace has no measure; His power, no boundary known unto men; for out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He giveth and giveth and giveth again.”

In His Word God tells us, “The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking; he rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins” (Psalms 34:18, LB). When you face loss, remember God knows what loss is as well it was He who lost a son. God allowed His Son to give His life at Calvary so that you might know the fellowship of our Father in heaven. No, you cannot change the events of yesterday, but you can find God’s grace to help you live with yesterday’s events today. God is not the God of yesterday, but the God of yesterday, today and forever.

Jacques Brel first recorded this song on 11 September 1959, and it is on his album La Valse à Mille Temps. The song is published by Warner-Chappell Publishing. In 1961, he recorded a Flemish version of the song, entitled “Laat Me Niet Alleen”. In 1972, Brel recorded another version as the title track of his album Ne Me Quitte Pas.

The lyrics “Moi, je t’offrirai des perles de pluie venues de pays où il ne pleut pas” (“Me, I’ll give you pearls of rain that come from lands where it does not rain”) are sung to a theme borrowed from the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6 by the composer Franz Liszt.

Ne me quitte pas was written after Brel was thrown out of Zizou’s (Suzanne Gabriello – his mistress at the time) life after casting shame and sadness upon her. Zizou was pregnant with Brel’s child and had an abortion after Brel refused fatherhood.

It is considered by some as “Brel’s ultimate classic”.

Part 12 of Zulu from 1964. More attacks and killings. Now the battle starts getting heated up in the hospital. Private Hook finally shows the spine that he had all along, to the delight of his nagging NCO.

More from Wikipedia: Many of the men had full beards at the time of the battle. The film depicts them as largely clean shaven, with some sporting carefully-tended moustaches or sideburns.

Surgeon Reynolds is played by Patrick Magee as a middle-aged Irishman. In actuality Reynolds was thirty-five at the time of the battle. During the Battle of Rorke’s Drift, Reynolds went round the barricades, distributing ammunition and tending to wounded there, something that is not shown in the film. During the closing voiceover, he is also incorrectly referred to as “Surgeon-Major, Army Hospital Corps”; Reynolds was of the Army Medical Department, and was not promoted to the rank of Surgeon-Major until after the action at Rorke’s Drift. The pacifism apparent in Magee’s portrayal is also somewhat anachronistic and not based on the historical Surgeon Reynolds.

Private Henry Hook VC is depicted as a rogue with a penchant for alcohol; in fact he was a model soldier who later became a sergeant; he was also a teetotaller. While the film has him in the hospital “malingering, under arrest”, he had actually been assigned there specifically to guard the building. The filmmakers felt that the story needed an anti-hero who redeems himself in the course of events, but the film’s presentation of Hook caused his daughters to walk out of the film premiere in disgust.

Conversely, Corporal William Allen is depicted as a model soldier; in fact, he had recently been demoted from sergeant for drunkenness.

Colour Sergeant Bourne (1854-1945) is depicted as a big, hardened, middle-aged veteran; in fact, he was of smaller stature and, aged 24, the youngest colour sergeant in the British Army. He was called ‘The Kid’ by his men. Sergeant Bourne would not have worn medals on his duty uniform. Moreover, Green’s costume has the chevrons on the wrong arm.

The role of Padre George Smith ["Ammunition" Smith] is completely ignored.

The real Sergeant Maxfield, as in the film, was delirious with fever. However, he was too weak to leave his bed and was stabbed to death by Zulus while the other sick and injured were being evacuated from the room.
Private Cole was assigned to defend the hospital, not the perimeter. He was killed when he ran out of the hospital alone, possibly due to claustrophobia. Since he was killed by a bullet to the head, his last words in the film are unlikely to be authentic.
Corporal Christian Ferdinand Schiess was significantly younger than the actor who portrayed him. At the time of his death in 1884 five years after the battle he was 28 years old.

Private Hitch was shot through the shoulder, not the leg, as Allen is in the film.
Sergeant Windridge, played by the film’s stunt coordinator Joe Powell, described as The Sergeant with the Muscles, would not have been able to carry two mealie bags on his shoulders, as seen in the fortifying of the post. The bags were described as big, heavy things, weighing about 200 pounds each. For the film, the mealie bags were filled with wood shavings.

Well I’ve done this on my own from the many speeches from Obama and the songs written with “yes we can” in it, and the reverse of this statement is “thank you Satan”.

You can record it and play it on your computer backwards to hear it for your self. I don’t know if Obama is part of a Satanic cult and so on. I do know he is the puppet child, created by the Bilderberg Group. Someone has masses of people chanting this “yes we can” and having children chant it in schools and other areas. I’m not sure if Obama or anyone in the administration has ever commented on this finding. The fact is that sometimes Christians are tricked and have been speaking spells on themselves and each other without knowing.

Pagan spell casters, know they can not curse a Christian, but you have to trick a Christian to cursing themselves. Tricking people is a talent of Satan. The question is once something new is brought to your attention do you just keep doing it or do you stop and say I never want to offend God. If by me saying this could cause separation, why don’t people just stop saying it and tell the speaker you need a new slogan, cause I can’t say that. If Words mean nothing, why don’t Christians just pledge allegiance to Satan? The fact is words are important, be careful what you say and repeat. How many people just continue in rituals and pagan things and keep saying to themselves it doesn’t mean anything? With Truth come responsibilities, will people keep repeating this to satisfy Americas’ “chant” or stop to satisfy God?

Why don’t people blame the designer of the chant, for not making sure it had no other possible messages hidden? Many people will fall to tribalism and continue to chant “yes we can” and not care that it could have a dual meaning. Wake up, trickery is around you. Satan is trying to trick you.

The Most popular song from the Words of Worship Series.
I used to hear this song alot when I was growing up and it was very popular.
The quality of music had died down dramatically, even in Christian music, the music of today is not on par with the music of old.
There isn’t alot of soul and substance in music anymore including Chrstian music. Everything is now commercial and superficial.
Hallelujah was the 2nd album released from the Words of Worship Series in 1988. The Words of Worship being Abba, Hallelujah, Hosanna, Maranatha and Amen. Amen of course was never released (probably due to the fact that it might be difficult to make an album solely around it. Maybe!!!)
