Our Daily Bread (Feb.27) – Strength In Weakness

No one wants to be weak, so we find ways to appear strong. Some of us use the force of our emotions to manipulate people. Others use the force of personality to control people, and some use intellect to intimidate. Although these create an illusion of strength, they are signs of weakness.

When we are truly strong, we have the courage to admit our limitations and to acknowledge our dependence on God. As a result, true strength often looks a lot like weakness. When the apostle Paul prayed that an affliction would be taken from him, God answered, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Cor. 12:9). Paul responded with these troubling words: When I am weak, then I am strong (v.10).

Toward the end of Jesus earthly ministry, some of His disciples were striving for positions of prominence. Jesus used their argument as an opportunity to teach them that in His kingdom things are different: greatness comes when we willingly assume positions of weakness (Matt. 20:26).

This is a hard truth. I prefer the illusion of strength to the reality of weakness. But God wants us to realize that true strength comes when we stop trying to control people and start serving them instead. — Julie Ackerman Link

Going to skip a week
Justin was really excited to go to that highschool in Atlanta together with his little bro (best friend) Christian.
This is now in the morning, justin and Christian are sitting in the car and scooter is driving hes keeping an eye on justin for the first few days sees if everything would go well

Problem with new age shamanism!

This book is supposed to be about Mongolian Tengriism and swastika worship. But it is full of shit.
I will not name the creators of this book! I have a right to criticize some actions of shamans. I`m not afraid of them. I have my gods.
Some new age shamans are worse than …..-I have no words.

I wonder if in your country shamans know about Chakras? and Ying Yang symbols?

I know that there is theory that Mongols took Erlig khaan from 2nd father of Chingghis khaan, Christian Tooril Van khaan, who`s symbol was eagle with swastika =fenix of khalkha Mongols.

On the eve of the Ottoman occupation of the Balkan Peninsula, the Hesychast movement of the 14th century returned to the pure faith of the first Christians as a reaction to safeguard the Balkan Orthodox identity. In the very beginning of the 21st century, Isihia is going back to the Middle-Age Hesychast concept bearing the initial Christian ideas, which are so necessary today with their true faith, intact morale and genuine dedication of spirit. To the Middle-Age Christian person the word “Isihia” referred to the essence of Hesychast ideas and its literal meaning was silence, contemplation, peace — the spiritual practice to accomplish the mystic union with God

The mystagogy of the celebration

1234 The meaning and grace of the sacrament of Baptism are clearly seen in the rites of its celebration. By following the gestures and words of this celebration with attentive participation, the faithful are initiated into the riches this sacrament signifies and actually brings about in each newly baptized person.

1235 The sign of the cross, on the threshold of the celebration, marks with the imprint of Christ the one who is going to belong to him and signifies the grace of the redemption Christ won for us by his cross.

1236 The proclamation of the Word of God enlightens the candidates and the assembly with the revealed truth and elicits the response of faith, which is inseparable from Baptism. Indeed Baptism is “the sacrament of faith” in a particular way, since it is the sacramental entry into the life of faith.

1237 Since Baptism signifies liberation from sin and from its instigator the devil, one or more exorcisms are pronounced over the candidate. The celebrant then anoints him with the oil of catechumens, or lays his hands on him, and he explicitly renounces Satan. Thus prepared, he is able to confess the faith of the Church, to which he will be “entrusted” by Baptism.39

1238 The baptismal water is consecrated by a prayer of epiclesis (either at this moment or at the Easter Vigil). The Church asks God that through his Son the power of the Holy Spirit may be sent upon the water, so that those who will be baptized in it may be “born of water and the Spirit.”40

1239 The essential rite of the sacrament follows: Baptism properly speaking. It signifies and actually brings about death to sin and entry into the life of the Most Holy Trinity through configuration to the Paschal mystery of Christ. Baptism is performed in the most expressive way by triple immersion in the baptismal water. However, from ancient times it has also been able to be conferred by pouring the water three times over the candidate’s head.

1240 In the Latin Church this triple infusion is accompanied by the minister’s words: “N., I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” In the Eastern liturgies the catechumen turns toward the East and the priest says: “The servant of God, N., is baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” At the invocation of each person of the Most Holy Trinity, the priest immerses the candidate in the water and raises him up again.

1241 The anointing with sacred chrism, perfumed oil consecrated by the bishop, signifies the gift of the Holy Spirit to the newly baptized, who has become a Christian, that is, one “anointed” by the Holy Spirit, incorporated into Christ who is anointed priest, prophet, and king.41

1242 In the liturgy of the Eastern Churches, the post-baptismal anointing is the sacrament of Chrismation (Confirmation). In the Roman liturgy the post- baptismal anointing announces a second anointing with sacred chrism to be conferred later by the bishop Confirmation, which will as it were “confirm” and complete the baptismal anointing.

1243 The white garment symbolizes that the person baptized has “put on Christ,”42 has risen with Christ. The candle, lit from the Easter candle, signifies that Christ has enlightened the neophyte. In him the baptized are “the light of the world.”43

The newly baptized is now, in the only Son, a child of God entitled to say the prayer of the children of God: “Our Father.”

1244 First Holy Communion. Having become a child of God clothed with the wedding garment, the neophyte is admitted “to the marriage supper of the Lamb”44 and receives the food of the new life, the body and blood of Christ. The Eastern Churches maintain a lively awareness of the unity of Christian initiation by giving Holy Communion to all the newly baptized and confirmed, even little children, recalling the Lord’s words: “Let the children come to me, do not hinder them.”45 The Latin Church, which reserves admission to Holy Communion to those who have attained the age of reason, expresses the orientation of Baptism to the Eucharist by having the newly baptized child brought to the altar for the praying of the Our Father.

1245 The solemn blessing concludes the celebration of Baptism. At the Baptism of newborns the blessing of the mother occupies a special place.

Hawl Vs. Chris – September 4th 2008

This was the first and only words I’ve ever been able to get out to Christian Weston Chandler, the original creator of Sonichu, 8 years prior to this.

I was flipping through my inbox when I found these old gems, back in the days before Liquid, Ivy, or the CWCipedia, he just had Sonichu.net

I was bored so I pretended to be an alien queen bird furry girl, he ALMOST bought it, I told this story before but it wasn’t believed, but now you can read the saga that never was.

I have never once heard anything from Chris since these letters, I probably never will again. May Chris’ years be long and his hardships hillarious.

By humongous breast fixation he meant all the Breast Expansion in my faves, which at the time was all I really used youtube for. I didn’t really expect this to go anywhere, I was just bored and decided “Why the not?”

My RPG is still in production for all curious parties, and recently the creator of the Chris-Chan RPG that features Chris as the hero saw my first trailer and thought it was a good start. Thanks man, that means alot to me, especially coming from the guy who made the bottled awesome that is his project, not even sure how he did most of that stuff to be honest.

I think he may have scrapped it by now, since there haven’t really been any new videos lately, but whether or not he did, I’d like to play it one day. If you haven’t seen it, I don’t think he really gave it a TRUE and HONEST title, just type in “Chris-Chan RPG” you’ll find it.

Harvest Vineyard Mission is a non-profit, residential Christian-based recovery center in Crestview, Florida that seeks to connect struggling lives with the love and power of Jesus Christ in order to see them transformed into radical, passionate worshipers of God. Through Spirit-led personal ministry and an intensive discipleship environment, our vision is to break down walls and demolish chains of bondage; rebuilding broken lives, clothing the naked and feeding the hungry while making a difference in the lives of hurting people and for those who have life controlling issues. We know that through the love of God, the study of His Word, and a sincere desire on the part of the individual, a profound change can and will occur.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Through a 12 month commitment we offer hope to people who otherwise could not have escaped the controlling cycles in which they had become accustomed.
At HVM residents are put into strict Godly disciplines that make them successful against their life-controlling problems. Some of the residents come to us voluntarily and some are placed in the program by the courts. All residents are placed in an environment to help them recover from addiction and participate in classes with teachers who also teach relapse prevention. Our goal is for the students to return to their community and family, and for them to find success in their life pursuits.

Throw away your religious books!

The time has come to throw away my religious books. I have had some of these for over 20 yrs and feel no need to hang on to them or give them away. I do not want others to be brainwashed as i was. My most recent affiliation in the church was a few yrs ago and had a few bad experiences with some so-called christians so i quit the church and never want to return. I always felt i did not fit in. I guess because i thought that so much of it was complete bullshit. religion is big business and why should i donate money to religious organizations. I give money to the Human Rights campaign now and Soulforce which are groups fighting for the civil liberties of the LGBT community.
Being a gay person myself was the number one thing that brought me out of the religious “spell” i was in. How? Because i know who i am and know for a fact i have always had this sexual oorientation despite christians reciting scripture saying i am not right for being who i am. Christians and Muslims and so many others have not yet learned the fact that gay people are born gay. The religious folks don’t want to accept that despite evidence all around in the form of gay people everywhere. We are a reality. We are fact. Religions have problems with reality and facts. Hopefully they overcome it someday because a lot of people are hurt by their oppressive actions and words.

In my divinity, I lament again that they refuse the consolation of my divinity and give its charity no consideration.”
