I am Jewish, can I become a Christian
What a wonderful question! Here is my story; the story of another Jew, like yourself, who had asked this very same question many years ago:

I grew up in an orthodox Jewish home in New York, and several years ago I came to believe that Yeshua (Yeshua is the Hebrew way to say the Greek name Jesus) is truly the Jewish Messiah. Believing that Yeshua is the Messiah wasn’t easy. I had many, many questions, and I spent months examining the evidences and seeking G-d’s answers. During my journey, I constantly reminded myself of a very important verse from the Jewish Scriptures (the Tanakh). The Jewish prophet Jeremiah records the words of G-d, You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

The Jewish Scriptures (The Torah, The Prophets, and The Writings, which make up the Tanakh or the Jewish Bible) paint a very clear picture of who the Mashiach (Messiah) will be when He eventually comes to the nation of Israel. In fact, there are over 300 prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures, which detail many facts about this coming Messiah/king. Here is just a sampling (and remember, all these verses come from the Jewish Bible):

Messiah was to be born at Bethlehem: Micah 5:1.
Messiah would be from the tribe of Judah: Genesis 49:10.
Messiah would present himself by riding on an ass: Zechariah 9:9.
Messiah would be tortured to death: Psalm 22.
Messiah would arrive before the destruction of the Second Temple: Daniel 9:24-27.

Messiah’s life would match a particular description, including suffering, silence at his arrest and trial, death and burial in a rich man’s tomb, and resurrection: Isaiah 52:13-53:12.

Christian prophecy is remarkably specific. In detail as to lineage, birthplace, time and lifestyle, Jesus matched the Messianic expectations of the Hebrew Scriptures. The record of this fulfillment is to be found in the pages of the New Testament. As you review the more extensive list of Jewish Messianic prophecies, allow G-d to speak to your heart and your mind as you seek HIS truth.

Interestingly, the Jewish Scriptures paint seemingly two different pictures about the Messiah to come. For one, they talk about the Messiah who will come as the reigning King, who will usher in a period of unprecedented peace on earth. But many verses talk about the Mashiach who will be a suffering servant, who will suffer and die for the sins of the people. For many hundreds of years the rabbis believed that there would be two Messiahs, the King Mashiach ben David, and the suffering servant Mashiach ben Joseph. The rabbis, unfortunately, were not able to see that one Messiah would accomplish both missions.

Christian prophecy was indeed fulfilled in the Jewish Messiah. Yeshua came to the “lost sheep of the House of Israel” 2000 years ago. He came as Isaiah chapter 53 so clearly states, to die and “suffer” for the sins of the Jewish people. He came to the nation of Israel, but was rejected. If the Jews would have accepted His “once for all” (Hebrews 10:10) atonement for sins, Yeshua would have ushered in the Kingdom of Heaven at that point in history. But the Jews did not recognize Him. Even though they had the Word of G-d in their own Hebrew Scriptures, and more than 300 descriptions of who He would be when He comes, they missed Him. As a result, the Good News of God’s Kingdom went forth to the Gentile world, and for 2000 years now both Jew and Gentile have come together in Mashiach, looking forward to His soon return as reigning King, just as the rabbis have always expected.

Although the nation of Jews rejected Yeshua when He came, G-d has always, through the last 2000 years, kept a “remnant” of believing Jews for Himself. I and many thousands of Jews alive today, have received Yeshua as their Lord, and Savior, and Mashiach. We have been blessed with “new life” in Him, and we look forward to eternal life with Him in G-d’s heavenly Kingdom.

This is a lot to digest, but if you are asking this question, it is G-ds Spirit (the Ruach HaKodesh) who has drawn you to this information. I pray that you will continue your examination of the evidences of who Jesus really is and His claims to be the Jewish Messiah in fulfillment of Hebrew prophecy. Remember the words of Yeshua, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20). Perhaps Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, is standing at the door of your heart right now! Consider Him! Open the door and allow Him to come into you!

The Great Escape is a music video (that feels like a RTC3 ride) about a young boy escorted to safety from within a green sphere (symbolizing the child) that follows red spheres which symbolize his parents or grown adults (leading the child out of the maze). Unfortunately, the red spheres do not live to the end and transform into black spheres which symbolizes their demise.

The maze symbolizes a city (or nation) within Planet Earth. The spread of cataclysmic war has made the world a dangerous place to live in; consequently, many adult spheres seek to evacuate the city (or nation) flooding in ruin but it is the innocent imagination of a child that believes (and who escapes in the end).

The massive red sphere at the end of the video symbolizes the wars waged by adults preceding the greatest war, or Armageddon, which is symbolized by the massive red sphere turning black (that brings upon the Doom of Planet Earth).

Lets review a few events in history and the media (that are precursors to future warfare).

1) The preparation and building of the New World Order is a fact, but what exactly is its purpose? Is it for world peace or for world domination? The strange symbols on our money (especially in the United States), and the number of conspiracy theorists warning the common man, all but illustrate a growing fear in the world population.

2) The Palestinian / Israeli tension has not lessened since the inception of the State of Israel in 1948. Will World War 3 (WWIII) be waged on the planet because of the never ending tension between these two ethnic groups (or religions)? Nations such as the United States may bank on this opportunity to wage war (for example, against Iran) that greater control may be established in the world by government(s), under the apparent main government leader of the New World Order: the United States.

3) Will Islamism or Fundamentalist Islam be the spark to ignite the fury of WWIII? Consider the fiery spark from the brutal murders of innocents by Islamists for political reasons. If not for political reasons, then consider the recent depiction of the prophet Muhammad in a bear costume by South Park which received a death threat (and then consider the furious, almost genocidal outrage that ensued by the secular community reacting to this threat and other related threats / tragedies).

4) Is the global economic collapse (of a multitude of nations) the result of mere chance or of careful planning by world powers to establish a one-world currency? Was the Subprime Mortgage Crisis a mere chance event or was it a carefully planned event executed by global investment banks to weaken the American economy and thereby negatively affect the economies of other nations as well?

5) Why the secrecy of UFO-related phenomena and the withholding of information from the public? Especially in the United States, the public has been kept in the dark for the longest time about these sightings and phenomena (unlike Canadian government, which I believe has gone public concerning the matter). Is it because they really are a threat to the public and the United States government is protecting the public, or is it for another reason?

And finally, here is the definition of Armageddon from Wikipedia:

Armageddon [] is the site of an epic battle associated with the end time prophecies of the Abrahamic religions.

According to some premillennial Christian interpretations, the Messiah, the “Lamb”, Jesus Christ, will return to earth and defeat the Antichrist (the “beast”) in the battle of Armageddon. Then Satan will be put into the bottomless pit or abyss for 1,000 years, known as the Millennial age. After being released from the abyss, Satan will gather Gog and Magog from the four corners of the earth. They will encamp surrounding the holy ones and the “beloved city”. Fire will come down from God, out of heaven and devour Gog and Magog after the Millenium, and the Devil who deceived them is thrown into Gehenna (the lake of fire and brimstone) where the Beast and the False Prophet have been since just before the 1,000 years.[4]

I moved in for the kiss. Justin prolonged the moment. I waited for the dare to be over. Justin’s lips met mine. We explored eachothers mouth. This wasn’t just a kiss I felt something more. I’m pretty sure he felt it cause he moaned softly. I didn’t want to pull away. Well my body didn’t, It felt like it’s been waiting for this forever. We ignored the ‘coughs’ in the room. It felt like we were in our own world. It was perfect, the kiss left me breathless. I know they said I dated justin, but I rlly don’t know him. I kinda fell like I do. even when we were done kissing he held me in his arms, and I felt like that’s where i belonged. We starred into eachothers eyes for the longest, like our eyes were having a conversation. Justin sighed and said my Gorgie sadly. Who’s his Gorgie. I sudenly felt rage, jelousy. Though I barely know him my emotians were strong.I felt tears stream down my face and justin was surprised. I pulled out of his arms and half-ran down the stairs, almost tripping. I locked myself in the bathroom by the living room. END POV

Our kiss was wonderful, Abbi has never kissed me like that. still I miss my gorgie. this Abbi barely knows me. Abbi soon flitted down the stairs. i didn’t hear the door slam so she is still inside. I wonder what I did to make her totally turn away, apperantly so did the other. Aly started blaming me. give her time to remember, you shouldn’t have forced her like that. Like what? We were both making out, I mean it does take two people right? I ran down stairs and away from thier bickering, to find abbi. i heard quiet soft sobs coming from the bathroom. i knocked on the door. GO AWAY she wimpered. I opened the door because I knew the lock didn’t work. She was crying so I thought she might be cutting herself but no, she just sat there her eyes puffy. This may sound wierd but she looked like an angel. A sad one though. I knelt down to be on eye level with her. END POV:

Second, you need to admit your sinful nature to God, because this is what separates all of us from Him.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).

Third, you should stop trying to please God through your own efforts, and realize that salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is a gift that none of us deserves.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8).

Finally, you just need to step in and truly accept Gods gift — His Son, Jesus Christ.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12).

So, now you know the basic steps to become a Christian. As a result, if you desire Gods gift of eternal life and fellowship with Him, you are as close as a sincere act of faith.

Jesus says,

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6).

Jesus also says,

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20).

Receiving Jesus is a matter of truly asking Him to come into your life, to forgive your sins, and to become your Lord and Savior. Its not merely an intellectual undertaking, but rather, an act of sincere faith and heart-felt will.

If you want to receive Jesus now, and accept His gift of salvation, it’s a matter of believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of your sins, and turning the rest of your life over to Him. This is not a ritual based on specific words, but rather, a prayerful guideline for your sincere step of faith. Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38)

Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment. * Get baptized as commanded by Christ. * Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ. * Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible. * Seek fellowship with other Christians. Develop a group of Christian friends to answer your questions and support you. * Find a local church where you can worship God.
